The Daily Cricket Guessing Game

CricketGuessr is a free daily guessing game built for cricket fans. Every day at midnight IST, a new mystery cricketer is selected from a database of over 200 players spanning 11 nations. Your challenge is to identify the player in 8 guesses or fewer using attribute-based clues โ€” country, role, batting style, bowling style, IPL team, age, and formats played.

How CricketGuessr Works

After each guess, every attribute lights up with color-coded feedback. Green means an exact match, orange means you're close (for example, same bowling family or age within 2 years), and gray means no match. Age clues also include arrows โ€” โฌ†๏ธ if the target player is older, โฌ‡๏ธ if younger โ€” helping you converge quickly on the right generation of player.

Who Can You Guess?

The player pool covers cricketers across every era and format โ€” from all-time legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Don Bradman to modern stars like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Pat Cummins. You'll find players from India, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe. IPL franchise players from all 10 teams โ€” MI, CSK, RCB, KKR, DC, PBKS, RR, SRH, LSG, and GT โ€” are also featured.

Why Cricket Fans Love It

Inspired by Wordle, CricketGuessr adds a cricket twist to the daily puzzle format that millions know and love.
